Acara Solutions has a Discovery Shop Sales Associate role with our client in Los Gatos, CA
Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in a Sales Associate role.
In this role, successful candidates will be skilled in customer service, cashiering, sales,
and opening and closing a retail store. Candidates must be able to multitask.
The candidate will be answering inquiries and assisting with donations. The pay for this
role is $19.00-20.00 p/hr.
Job Requirements
BASIC/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of Sales Associate experience
- Discovery Shop staff position supporting most aspects of daily shop operations
- Servicing customers, Welcome greetings
- Merchandise sales, cashiering, merchandise bagging
- Carry-out assistance to customer's vehicle
- Service all donors by receiving donations:
- Through carry-in assistance from donor's vehicles
- Placing donations in designated areas
- Providing donation receipts and processing receipts with donations
- Service all volunteers through internal operational support
- Store opening and closing procedures
- Cash register drawer counts and end-of-day income reporting.
- Maintain opening, ongoing, and end-of-day appearance of the sales floor and dressing rooms
- Dusting and vacuuming
- Straightening racks and fixtures, and refreshing
- depleted displays
- Processing donations
- Sorting, steaming, pricing, and placing merchandise on the sales floor
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Comfortable with multitasking responsibilities
- Ability to work independently
- This role is Temp to Perm
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- A High school Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills

- Team player, willing to do what is necessary to get the job done
Physical Requirements: - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, use
- hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear.
- The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include
- close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
