YOU

As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for aiding the Branch in daily tasks and projects. The ideal candidate will be experienced and highly skilled in working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong computer skills, can adapt to learning new systems.This position requires a proactive, self-starter who possesses exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, both oral and written.A high level of professionalism, organization, and flexibility are essential.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(of Time)

Provide general administrative assistance duties including: copying, scanning, filing, data entry, note taking, developing PowerPoint presentations, developing Word and Excel reports, preparing expense reports, ordering supplies, serving as a backup for other administrative roles in the office. (40%)

Provide event planning duties including scheduling, planning, budgeting, purchasing supplies, organizing, and running various regularly scheduled events for the organization. (25%)

Manage various communications including soliciting, collecting, and developing content for quarterly newsletter, managing the branch wide calendars, sending out email communications from leadership, and organization of email distribution lists. (25%)

Manage various miscellaneous projects and tasks as requested. (10%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.
  • Four-year degree, technical school certificate in Business, or equivalent experience Preferred.
  • 5 years working in office environment.
  • Microsoft Office Products - Must possess advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as working knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Communication - Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations. Ability to write in a clear, concise, and organized manner for the intended audience.
  • Adaptability & Flexibility - Ability to think and act effectively under pressure
  • Attention to Detail - Ability to possess strong organization skills. Ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task.
  • Self-Management - Ability to display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.

This job operates in a professional office environment where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. are frequently used.

This job does not require travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This is a full-time, non-exempt position located in Stockton, CA.

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

PAY

$24.09 - $30.10 / Hour
