Overview

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Production Senior Program Manager to join our Healdsburg or Folsom, California team.

The Production Senior Program Manager oversees all aspects of a program, including the program inception (proposal development), complete build and overall program execution, quality, cost, schedule, and technical execution, through program completion (contract closeout). The position leads and directs a cross-functional Integrated Program Team (IPT) which is assigned to assist with meeting all of the program objectives. Senior Program Managers often present to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders. The Senior Program Manager performs program risk and opportunity assessments and develops plans for risk mitigation and opportunity realization throughout the life of the program. This is a full-time on-site position.

Major Position Responsibilities
    Has P&L responsibilities for a specific program
  • Implements and administers one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple programs or sub-programs.
  • Executes programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or customers.
  • Participates in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance.
  • Promotes the program throughout the organization and tracks utilization.
  • Supervises the work of program or project staff to ensure that work in completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics.
  • Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations.
  • Provides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 8 - 10 years or relevant experience

Pay Range (USD)
$138,254 - $256,757 annually
Additional Compensation
Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
