The Opportunity:
Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
What you'll do:
Lead/support a cross-functional team to ensure equipment is ready for use
Provides SME support concerning the manufacturing equipment/systems
Develops troubleshooting strategies for complex equipment failures
Investigate events using formal problem-solving tools to determine root cause(s)
Monitors operations, and equipment performance, and analyzes data
Recommends equipment improvements using data and decision-making tools
Responsible for equipment maintenance strategies
Identifies preventive actions and implements assigned actions
Responds to support requests, troubleshoots issues, and identify corrective actions
Uses process descriptions/requirements to evaluate events
Performs product quality impact assessments as needed
Supports transfer of new processes via gap assessments
Who you are:
Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) as they apply to biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities or equivalent regulation
Strong knowledge of operations and of biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities
Knowledge of material of construction, equipment/piping, and sanitary design requirements including ASME BPE requirements.
Able to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans
Builds productive relationships with partners; focuses on customer needs
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Bio-Chemical Engineering is preferred
Degrees in other engineering fields as well as in scientific disciplines

The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Vacaville, California:
Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
