CLA is looking to hire a Tax Senior to join our fast-growing Exempt Tax (Nonprofit, Health Care and Higher Education) team in the West region.

How you'll create opportunities in this Tax Senior role:

  • Serve Tax-Exempt clients in the Healthcare, Higher Ed, and Nonprofit industries in a high impact manner, demonstrating command of a major area of specialization.
  • Demonstrate deep exempt tax technical skills and have the above related industry knowledge.
  • Prepare a variety of exempt organization returns and be working towards reviewing exempt organization returns.
  • Partner with clients to provide customized tax compliance and tax advisory services and work closely with other tax-exempt team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
  • Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
  • Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
  • Expand your technical and professional knowledge through greater exposure to client interactions, regular self-study, and training opportunities.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • You have at least 2 years' experience as an associate in public accounting, professional services, higher education, healthcare or private foundations specializing in tax exempt organizations.
  • You have or are eligible to sit for the CPA license, preferred.

The wage range for this position is:

  • For California, the posted range for this role is $77,000-$123,000.
  • For Colorado, the posted range for this role is $75,000-$107,000.
  • For Washington, the posted range for this role is $69,000-$111,000.

Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
