Job Description

Title: Receptionist - Cameron Park Office

Pay: $20-23/hr

Summary of Position

The Receptionist will provide clerical support to the Cameron Park office and manage the phone incoming phones for TSU, CTL, and Ceres west coast calls.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location
  • Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments
  • Screen and assist visitors and assists applicants
  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items
  • Maintain inventory for office supplies and prepares orders for approval
  • Maintains supplies within the kitchen areas
  • Prepares conference and training rooms for meetings as needed.
  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks as assigned.
  • Provide back up as needed for the new hire onboarding process.
  • Performs basic filing and recordkeeping
  • Keep common areas stocked and presentable.
  • Provides basic cleaning to provide a safe work environment as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • HS or GED is required
  • Minimum one-year reception or office administrative support experience.
  • Intermediate computer skill and must be knowledgeable of MS Office.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Be able to multitask with many interruptions throughout the day
  • Excellent organizational skills and be self-motivated to complete routine tasks
  • Must be detail oriented and customer focused
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access Databases.
  • Extremely strong organizational, follow through, and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as a team member, as well as independently, while adhering to strict deadlines

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Moderate noise typical of an office setting such as computers, printers, phone, and light customer traffic.
