Job Description
This position is located at the California Health Care Facility in Stockton, California. 

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Building Trades, this position has the responsibility for maintenance of the buildings, utilities, and equipment throughout the institution. This position is directly responsible to the Supervisor of Building Trades, CF. Must possess skills in both rough and finish carpentry and the use and care of hand and power carpenter tools. Ability to prepare rough sketches of work from plans and specifications; interpret specifications and recognize lumber types and grades; follow oral and written directions, keep simple records and make reports; prepares lists of materials and supplies, and lists of estimates, the cost of jobs; lays out the work of the Carpenter Shop. Reads and writes at a level appropriate to the classification.
