Overview:

Calibrate North is an outsourced recruitment and talent acquisition advisory organization based in Northern, Virginia. This is an exciting position for someone who is looking to gain experience in the world of Talent Acquisition. The HR Recruiting intern will be directly supporting one of our partners in helping manage their applicant tracking system, screening candidates and coordinating interviews with the hiring teams.

Responsibilities:

• Using a variety of methods to source candidates, the HR Recruiting Intern will be screening top talent as well as coordinate interviews and usher candidates through the hiring process on behalf of our client partner.
  
• Support the client partner by updating job descriptions, completing job postings, and organizing/creating process documents
  
• Learn and manage the partner Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to maintain candidate records utilizing best practices and proper documentation
  
• Track recruitment activity and prepare reports as needed
  
• Collaborate with members from across the organization to include programs and HR to create a smooth recruitment and onboarding process
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship
  
• Strong analytical and planning capabilities, with creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  
• 0-1 years of experience sourcing candidates and conducting phone screens to evaluate minimum skills and fit for positions
  

• Hands on experience with ATS and HRIS systems
  
• Comfortable with managing multiple tasks with different priorities
  
• Willingness to learn strategic customer interaction and how to provide consultative support to client partners
  

• Full-life cycle recruiting training and exposure to include but not limited to:
  
• Candidate sourcing techniques and strategies
  
• Additional insight on candidate negotiation and closing
  
• HR experience within federal contracting
